CANTON is a group of four manufacturing facilities located in GIDC Industrial Estate, Baroda, manufacturing a whole gamut of fine chemicals and bulk drugs, including high quality gluconates.
Shanpar Industries Pvt. Ltd. who is a global supplier of quality gluconates. This unit has another satellite unit within the close vicinity to share the main plant's work loads.
The company's Quality System is based on GMP/Schedule-M and ISO 9001:2000 International Standard. The Quality Management System is Documented in a way to maintain continual improvement and ensure effectiveness in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard. Quality Manual is made as the Basic guidelines for implementing Quality Management Systems and serves as the whole and sole Quality Document of the Organization. Processes are identified in accordance with relevant applications other than defining their sequence, interaction and control in appropriate documents.
Significant to the implementation of this Quality Management System is Training and Measurement while Internal Audit verifies that documented procedures are implemented. While adequate resources are made available for respective processes it is ensured that necessary actions are taken for continual improvement. Work Instructions or Standard Operating Procedures for specific tasks which form part of the quality management system are documented. Such documents are only supplementary to the basic needs of the Documented procedures or Process Charts for proper functioning and control of the processes.
